Album art revealed!

HIGHLAND GLORY have changed the title of the new album to "TWIST OF FAITH", and it will include the following songs - "Limitation Of Life (Dark Side Of The Mind)", "Earthbound Spirit", "Alone" (Heart cover), "Holocauster Ride", "Temptation Highland", "Far Cry From Freedom", "Blood Of The Innocent", "Twist Of Faith (Gar...den Of Heathen)", "Diary Of The Dying", "Without You". Hopefully the mix and the album artwork should be ready in about a months time. We will announce the final running order, artwork and further details as soon as it can be revealed. "We have just completed all the instrumental bits and pieces for the forthcoming album, and only about half the vocal tracks remain to be done. We hope to have finished the recording by march or april, and hopefully mix it before the summer for an autumn release.
Concerning live activity the only plans for Highland Glory so far is to participate at the WinterNachtsTraum Festival in Arnsberg, Germany on february 20th, as well as the already mentioned Kamelot support at Sentrum Scene in Oslo on april 16th. Highland Glory will also appear on the Rebel Heart Rock Festival, which takes place at John Dee in Oslo on may 15th. Both Jack and Morten will also make an appearance, with the live debut of norways very first Running Wild tribute band Metal Pirates, to honour one of the greatest metal bands of all time."

With those good news we would like to wish you all a metal x-mas and a heavy new year, and hope to see you all banging around the x-mas tree at Martins in Lillestrøm on friday december 11th and at Skuret in Oslo on december 12th with HIGHLAND GLORY and our friends all the way from Germany, ORDEN OGAN. We hope you`ll join us and give our special guests a warm welcome on their first visit to Norway! "The band has just started recording three more songs for the next album; "Far Cry From Freedom", "Diary Of The Dying" and "Twist Of Faith (Garden Of Heathen)". Drums has been laid down, and after the summer holidays we will finish the songs. We will also write and record another song before we feel we have the material we need for the album. We should have it all done by the end of the year, so we can mix it early next year. Then it`s anyone`s guess when it`ll be out, but sometime next year should be realistic, depending on when we find a label to release it. Meanwhile check our tour dates regularly for new gigs this autumn, which will be posted as soon as they`re confirmed." ========================================================= February 2nd

"The band hope you`ve had a wonderful christmas and wishes you all a happy new year! We have just been in the studio and re-recorded most of the vocals on both "Earthbound Spirit" and "Alone" to improve them further. We are also recording three more songs for the next album; "Blood Of The Innocent", "Holocauster Ride" and "Temptation Highland". We hope to have written and recorded the rest of the material by next summer. The band will continue to record the rest of the album this way. Each time we have a few more songs rehearsed we will record them and so on. "Highland Glory have finally found a new singer to replace Jan Thore Grefstad, who left the band in october last year. The new female vocalist is Trine Elise Johansen. The band decided early that they primarily wanted a female replacement. With the line up once again complete they will rehearse a new live set with the new recruit and will be ready to play live this spring, as well as continue to work on material for the next album."
